Programs

Reaching All Youth vision and actions respond to the widespread impacts of trauma. Our strategy works at many levels. Reorienting and strengthening community organizations, engaging youth and their families in the communities they live in at a grassroots level and sharing and building the skills critical to reducing the social and emotional impact of trauma. We know that trauma can be healed by resilience – a strength that can be learned by developing healthy habits compassion for yourself, nurturing social communications and bonds, and cultivating optimism and hope are at the core of what Reaching All Youth provides to the youth, families and communities we serve.

Mentoring

Reaching All Youth mentoring program engages high school students as mentors to younger youth. The older students develop leadership skills while being role models for younger children in their neighborhood. The younger students receive encouragement, connection to caring mentors, and opportunities to participate in life-skills workshops and community service activities.

Academic partnerships help us to provide tutoring for any youth needing assistance

Learn

Learn through weekly mentoring sessions, bi-weekly mentor-only training sessions, workshops that all help participants develop
important life skills, community service activities, and recreation and enrichment programs.
